Last weekend, I had the pleasure of attending a performance of Mary Poppins at the Rainbow Stage Theatre. From the convenient location to the impressive performance of the actors, the evening was filled with delightful surprises and memorable moments.

The theatre, located in the heart of Kildonan Park, proved to be easily accessible. With the help of volunteers, finding our seats was a breeze. However, parking was a bit of a challenge due to heavy traffic; this is an area that could use improvement.

As the curtains rose, the detailed and realistic props immediately caught my attention. From the iconic corry shop to the flawless sound and lighting, the technical aspects of the production were on point, adding an essential layer to the performance.

The actors’ singing and acting were equally commendable. Their performances were superb, with an impressive level of authenticity. I was particularly captivated by the portrayal of Ms. Andrews, and the young actor playing Jane also left a lasting impression.

During the intermission, the availability of food and drinks just outside the theatre was a welcome convenience. The items were reasonably priced, and the quick service allowed for a stress-free experience.

Overall, Mary Poppins at Rainbow Stage delivered a top-notch performance, leaving the audience thoroughly entertained and eager for more. I highly recommend catching a show at this delightful venue.

  1. Great commentary! I heard it was legendary! I am in awe at this piece – not only did you comment on the musical itself but the entire experience including parking and the food vendors available. Its like I was there! As a side note, Sabbie had a lot of fun with her Ates!
